Blackwing Descent is a raid instance added in the Cataclysm expansion and it features dragons, dragons everywhere. We see the return of our good friends Nefarian and Onyxia whose encounters are one of the most memorable ones from vanilla WoW. Deathwing has resurrected Nefarian and he is conducting extensive experiments of his own in the part of Blackrock mountain yet again. The instance features 6 bosses and 10 and 25-man heroic modes. It is also one of the instances that, when cleared, gives Tier 11 Set loot. The following drops from Nefarian:

We have added loot tables for all bosses in Blackwing Descent to our “Cataclysm Instance Loot Table” guides and you can check out some video footage of the epic Nefarian encounter that features fighting both Onyxia and Nefarian at the same time. The footage is provided by the Paragon guild and was recorded during beta. The encounter might not be the same in the current version of the game, but it gives a pretty good picture of what can be expected.
